I’m thrilled that Newcastle boasts a plethora of alternative wedding venues, and Full Circle Brewery is certainly one of the gems! Back in March, I organised and shot a styled shoot there, so settle in for a colour overload at this awesome venue.
Styled wedding shoots are my absolute favourite—they’re the perfect avenue for being creativity, networking with suppliers, and offering inspiration to soon-to-be-married couples! When we moved to Newcastle, I stumbled across Full Circle Brewery on Instagram. I immediately loved the look of it so approached them for a shoot. This venue is just my kind of place!
Full Circle Brewery Wedding Venue
Full Circle is one of the newer venues in the Ouseburn Valley, sitting in Hoults Yard. The main space feels brighter than other breweries with it’s bright walls and plentiful windows. Your ceremony will take place in the Taproom, but you also have access to the Tankroom and beer garden for those summer evenings. It has a chic minimalist feel, and you could do so much with the space! Keep it minimal, or decorate it to the nines.
The space can hold 80 guests for a sit down dinner, and 100 for an evening party!
Wedding ceremony in Full Circle’s taproom
As mentioned, you can exchange your vows in the Tap Room, with a view of Hoults Yard and the working brewery. It’s a blank canvas space but there’s already a floral installation on the ceiling which adds a nice bit of flair. For this ceremony set up, we wanted to channel a kitsch disco feel, so went for lots of colour, neon and disco balls.
You can have a celebrant led wedding ceremony here, so we had lovely Tash with us. Jess and Mason who modelled for this shoot are actually one of my real life couples getting married at Full Circle next year! I guess you could say this was their practice run for the big day 🙂
Wedding photography in the Brewery at Full Circle
If you get married at Full Circle Brewery, you can go into the working brewery to capture your wedding portraits. Now if that’s not cool and a bit different, I don’t know what is! I absolutely adore these portraits!
Wedding portraits with my Classic Mini!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you may know that before Covid I restored a Classic Mini. I’ve wanted to sneak it into one of my styled shoots for years, and this was finally the moment. It matched this shoot vibe and colour so perfectly that I definitely couldn’t leave it at home!
If you want other outdoor shots at this venue, you can wander into Hoults Yard with it’s lovely cobbled entrance.
Sooo.. if you’re looking for an amazing alternative wedding venue in Newcastle centre, is this the one? Booking this venue also means that the absolutely lovely Kate will be running your day. Rest assured, you’ll be in safe hands!
