Originally from a small village just outside of Winchester, I moved to London to study Radio Production at university. I had big ol’ dreams about becoming the next Zane Lowe…and whilst music is still a huge passion (give me a ticket to a gig and I’ll there dancing into the small hours), photography well and truly captured my heart.
I still live in London with my other half, and I am at my most content when planning my next trip somewhere (hot or cold…I love to travel!), working out, discovering great foodie hangouts and generally getting out and about amongst nature! If I’m not at home, you’ll likely find me on a Mini Adventure with my classic Mini Taka.
Because of my laid back style and easy going character, I find it easy to make my couples relax in front of the camera. On booking, all my clients tell me they hate having their photo taken and feel like lemons. I hear you, I am rubbish at it too! But that's why I'm here. I pride myself in making people who believe they are awkward or unphotogenic feel comfortable and relaxed! Most of my clients say they don't even feel like they are having their photos taken.
My love for photography started when I received my first DSLR for my 21st birthday (thanks grandparents!), and I guess you can say the rest is history. I live for experimenting. I have shot my fair share of subjects, from nature and gigs to travel and food.
But it was after second shooting weddings for a friend that I realised that capturing a couple’s special day was for me!
"Caroline is absolutely fantastic! We approached her after seeing she'd already photographed our wedding venue (The Depot N7) for a wedding fair event they held and we loved her laid back, creative documentary style. Me and my now husband have always felt like a couple of lemons in front of the camera but Caroline was so friendly, chatty and knew how to get the shots we knew we wanted in the easiest way. She's brilliant at getting back to you and leading every step of the process, and really makes you feel like you're a priority which is so reassuring. She blended seamlessly into the wedding day (we forgot she was a supplier rather than a mate!) and was great at knowing when to suggest we get a few snaps of just us as a couple, and also when to leave us to mingle with our guests.
Her main aim is to capture what YOU want captured out of your day, and being able to relay that creative control is such a luxury. But, most importantly, we absolutely LOVE our wedding photos!! They're high-quality, have creative angles and capture so many amazing moments you miss with your eyes on the day. Thank you Caroline, we couldn't be happier!!"
