Back in the summer I met Sam & Phil on a very warm evening for their Greenwich Park engagement shoot. It’s now just over a month until their awesome wedding at the Tudor Barn in Eltham, so I thought I would share it with you.
Sam & Phil are local to Greenwich, hence why we chose the park. I also love this area – I’ve done an engagement shoot in Greenwich before and it was so dreamy! I was more than happy to be back here making use of more of the park area. After a long, hot summer it was looking a bit yellow and dry, but actually this looked super pretty!
Where possible, I like to do engagement shoots in the early evening, when the sun is starting to go down. This is prime time golden hour!
I am super excited about their wedding next month. It’s got a vintage fairground theme and I can’t wait to see what that entails. The Tudor Barn is also such a beautiful venue – I’m keen to see what they do with it! It has the most beautiful outdoor area, with a pretty walled garden. I’ve only ever seen it in winter, but I think in spring it will look incredible. Bring on lots of pretty flowers to use as a backdrop for my photos.
February is really when engagement season is kicking off for me. I’m super excited to be out with my camera again and meeting new couples! I’ll be going from Surrey to Switzerland for this month’s shoot, so keep an eye out for some fun new images soon.
